CUTforCAUSE Hair Donation Drive
is now CLOSED.
We are inviting 3 to 6 adult volunteers (ages 20 and above)Â and 3 to 6 young volunteers (ages 19 and below) for our CUTforCAUSE Hair Donation Drive on August 14, 2022. Â Mother-daughter tandems are encouraged to join, but all volunteers are welcome.
CUTFORCAUSE
Hair Donation Drive
The CUTforCAUSE Hair Donation Drive encourages mother-daughter tandems to donate hair for a good cause. All donated hair will be sent to Strand Up for Cancer, a Manila Downtown YMCA Youth Club-sponsored project that gives people a chance to help out the financially disadvantaged women who suffer from long-term hair loss due to chemotherapy.
All it takes is a minimum of 10 inches of hair to make a donation, and give a strand of optimism to cancer patients who are experiencing the emotional and depressing side effects of chemotherapy--- hair loss.
HAIR DONATION GUIDELINES:
• Make sure the donor has the length they want to keep without compromising the 10 inches needed for donation.
• Colored, bleached, rebonded, permed, and naturally curly hair are accepted, but natural hair is preferred as the wigs can last longer that way.
• On the day of the event, wash, shampoo, and condition hair, without any styling, hairspray, or additional hair products. Hair must be thoroughly dry.

In return for this act of kindness, hair donors will receive a fabulous haircut free of charge courtesy of InstaHair Extensions Salon.
